Been 7 years and got a job to not be around the house months at a time. Think it may be time to stay home and face things

Or maybe consider a change. For a relationship to work, it takes two people on the same page.

In my case I kinda was just out driving around the nation trying to figure things out. I was going to get a home job at Christmas time and she died in a car wreck a week before Thanksgiving. I didn't know if I even wanted to be around the area. So went on a bit of a vision quest for a bit. Working on a home job again now

It may be hard, but you can’t dodge being on your own at home forever. I hope you find things easier than you anticipate. There is a school of thought that says it’s best to get used to being on your own sooner rather than later, but we all handle these things differently. It will be the 8 year anniversary of my husband’s death tomorrow, but I’m totally adjusted to being on my own now, and am going to be meeting a friend and having lunch with her. I will think about Peter tomorrow, but only with fond and not sad memories.

I hope your path becomes easier for you. Keep coming here and sharing, it helps.

You can't run from your feelings forever.

No I came off the road last week. Had an interview and just have to pass the test, and I have a home job. Making a stand and taking my house back

@1986a Good to hear 🙂

I know. Its been almost 4 years & still so many things to deal with. I still have George as my beneficiary on my 401k & stuff like that. Its so difficult to keep on keeping on.
