This is so sweet. I still talk to Richard every night. I just need to tell him good night and that I love him. I was thinking yesterday how much I miss him as I was working in the back yard flower beds. When I would be outside for hours doing yard work, Richard would always come find me and see if I needed water or something to eat. I would get going outside and just forget to eat and drink water. He was always so concerned about me out in the heat, and would bring me fresh water and even make me a sandwich for lunch. I miss my garden buddy so much.

It is music to the ears of many bereaved, but not all. And while people assume too much and fear to bring it up, it's not without some good reason. It's important to ask for what you want, to give people permission, to explain that you won't be slain by the mere mention of their name, if that's what you want.
