Today a very old favourite of my mother’s...La Mer - Charles Trenet. It was first recorded the year I was born 1945. There were many other versions and covers in English, but I like the original French best.

@Marionville I was taught that there is always someone more clever, stronger or faster than myself.
I was also taught that you cannot walk or run if your legs are taken from under your body.
Sorry, had to laugh. When I hear things like this I immediately think of Maurice Chavalier and his connection to Pepe' le Pew.
