You can be pretty weird at times, FB. Like Krishnamurti, I do not believe in anything. The idea of an afterlife being the same as this life is really depressing.
@rogerbenham I'm surprised that you didn't comment on the owl, I believe it comes from your part of the world - check with your 1st nations mates.
@FrayedBear I know all about the owl. When it calls your name you are going to die. I have decided that I'm both too old and too young to die so you'll have to put up with me.
I'm reading now "A small and Charming World". It starts off describing Smithers then goes to Moricetown (now called Witset) which is about 15 miles north west of here.
@rogerbenham I assume by the same author. So long since I read "the Owl . . ." I cannot remember the author.
@FrayedBear Set way back in 1970 when Smithers was 3000 people. It is now 5500. The road north ends 20 miles north of Highway 16. Now it goes1000 km into Yukon.
She’s such a beautiful lady with the most beautiful voice. Yes...Roger it has that same effect on me

I love the way she smiles as she sings. So many choirs when I was growing up trying to get us to smile and not look as if we were at a funeral. The B&W shots of her with children were lovely - needed more!
@rogerbenham Yes...I can see why they made her a UNICEF ambassador.
