I just got home from town, not 30 minutes ago, & it's now thundering, & absolutely downpouring! Don't know about how effective it'll be for the over 300 fires burning, but it should clean the smoke over us for a bit.

@Marionville Yes, we're pretty desperate for rain all over, that's for sure. Fire risk is listed in the extreme for most of the province, & everyone is being advised to have getaway packs ready.
