Pink Floyd - Cirrus Minor
Since about 1968 this has been my favourite Pink Floyd track. They used it on an early LP but then again in the amazing film More where they just did the music.

I had bought the first Pink Floyd album on the 2nd day after release hearing it at a party ... funny I don't remember at whom's but I do remember a road going uphill and forking around the home. In '69 I started my M.Sc. in London and the film More was showing at an absolute flea pit cinema in Sloan Square. I was living in Soho at the time. I remember standing in light rain with a bunch of really weird looking guys. Once inside there was a smell of burning carpet I now know to have been Hash. Pink Floyd 's music was for a very underground crowd yet I'd bought that 1st record in likely July '69 and then had met them and briefly talked to them at a university concert in October or November '69. I have all their earliest LP's. Yes by '69 I was becoming a rebel from my class but Durham felt I was just an eccentric aristocrat. Dark Side of the Moon in '73 or 4 was their third Earls Court concert LP launcher I'd been to and I was still cavalry twills, tweed jacket and Simpson's ties; yet this was the LP that launched them world wide and became a hippy symbol. I do remember hearing this once or twice. I like the sounds of birds in this. It’s different that’s for sure!

Try it again, it might grow on you. I still love it.
