Well it was probably inevitable…Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest last night in Turin, Italy. The U.K. were in the lead after all the juries from the participating countries had voted, but when they added on the votes the public had registered, Ukraine leapfrogged ahead and took first place. Well done to both countries, to U.K. because after coming last in 2021 we needed to restore national self esteem! Ukraine needed this boost to national morale for obvious reasons during this period of war being waged against them by Russia. Last night’s actual live performance Is blocked to some countries…I’m posting a second video. This is the winning song from Kalush Orchestra. - Stefania. 🇺🇦

……I already posted the U.K. entry Spaceman sung by Sam Ryder a few days ago.

Powerful! I am hopeful the Ukraine will be victorious!!

Yes…we’re all rooting for them to beat Putin and his army.

They certainly deserve any morale boost they can get. I have so many heartstrings being tugged at right now.

Yes…it’s heartbreaking to see the pictures and the news coming out of Ukraine.
