Most of us like a good piece of piano music, I’m no exception…and there have been some great piano concertos written by many of the great classical composers. This one by Sergei Rachmaninov is one of my particular favourites. It’s his Concerto #2, opus18 performed by Lang Lang with the Marinsky Orchestra.

While visiting family this week, I'll be the one to walk my grandson up the street for his weekly piano lesson tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I've been playing him my favorite piano music in hopes of sharing the styles I'm most fond of hearing. I quit piano lessons at age 8, because I didn't have the fingers for it. My grandson has nice long elegant fingers just right for the piano.
