Bongo Legend Roberto Rohena and his Apollo Sound playing a song from the late 60's Debut Album... "El Sordo" and in the Congas... My Buddy... Victor "Tito" Calderon... To me his Older Brother "Chalo" was a better Conga Player but like happens often Chalo never wanted to be a Musician Playing in a Band so he taught his kid brother and just showed off his craft in a street or back alley Rumba but not with a band. Chalo taught me a lot about Percussionists. This is what it was like growing up and coming off youth in San Juan Puerto Rico at the beginning of the Salsa Era.
