More of New Zealand composer Gareth Farr - his concerto for Percussion and Orchestra:
Originally written for Vector Wellington Orchestra for the centennial celebrations of Wellington Town Hall in 2005.
Performed, May 20, the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, conducted Hamish McKeich, with Strike Percussion (Murray Hickman, Hannah Neman, Tim Whitta and Thomas Friggens) at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, Wigram, Christchurch. Projected imagery David Downes.
Filmed and edited Chris Watson for the Resound Project (funded NZ On Air). Audio provided Radio NZ Concert.

Until the day I posted when I listened to a subscription only CD bought s/h I was also unfamiliar with his work.

@Marionville I only got back home 6pm last night. Still very nice to have been missed. 03/09 is a long time for me to remember
