I couldn’t resist posting this Bollywood film theme which is sung in Hindi and titled Kutch Kutch Hota Hai from the movie of the same name and sung by Shah Rukh Khan/Kajol/Rani Mukherjee. The reason I am posting is because of the incongruity of the video which I instantly recognised as having been filmed in Scotland! The large rock which you can see in the water is The Bass Rock, it’s in the Firth of Forth and is the breeding ground of the largest colony of gannets in the British Isles. The ruined castle, on the East Lothian coast, from where they filmed the rock is called Tantallon Castle. The other ruined castles and abbeys in the video are from other parts of Scotland, from the Scottish Borders to the Highlands...a great advert for Scottish tourism. Btw I believe the movie is a story about a love triangle!

@Marionville Maybe it's getting too crowded in India so they need other places. Besides, a lot of Bollywood films are about interactions between India and the British.
Here we have something similar. Because of the laws and fees a lot of films made about Seattle are actually filmed in Vancouver, BC.
Is that not Eilean Donan (Sp?) at the beginning after the meadows scene?
I found it really strange having hindi sung around those places. Making a movie like that must be far cheaper nowadays with easy to transport camera gear and sound equipment.
But what did the words mean?

Yes...it is indeed Eilean Donan castle. I think Dunfermline Abbey too, and perhaps Melrose Abbey in the Borders.
