Here’s Neil deGrasse Tyson, in Astrophysics for People in a Hurry, 2017, on page 17:
“In the beginning, nearly fourteen billion years ago, all the space and all the matter and all the energy of the known universe was contained in a volume less than one trillionth the size of the period that ends this sentence.”
In 1962 someone other than Neil Tyson expressed that view. I was in graduate school deciding whether to study the physics of low temperatures and did not for a moment believe it. Had I stated my doubt I would have been denied the funding to do research in any field of physics. That has happened to students and they went to European universities to earn their degrees.
Happily, a mathematics problem required me to use the university’s computer. I finished it and asked my advisor, “People will pay me to do what I just did?” He said people would and I decided I’d had enough poverty. I finished the semester and started earning more than 85% of American workers were being paid. Twenty years after I retired I read Eric Lerner’s “The Big Bang Didn’t Happen” and I’m catching up.
The space missions you’ve been reading of have for years been returning data that falsifies the Big Bang model. American science has suffered.

Yes, all the astronomers and cosmologists in the world have a secret society devoted to suppressing evidence supporting alternative theories to the big bang. Do they have a secret handshake? Do they have joint conventions with all the climatologists who work so hard to maintain the global warming hoax?
