For years I have created stories in my mind to help me get to sleep. A few years back I decided to combine the stories into one and write a book. It ain't bad but not good enough to get published, so I self published it since I did put effort into writing it.
I have been a stitcher most of my life. I knit, crochet, quilt, sew. I make other crafts. The first picture is a quilt made about a year ago for my bed. Second is the block that is a baby quilt in progress for new grandchild.(daughter wants grays in the nursery) third is an afghan made many years ago, the two pillow are the same fabric just cut and sewn in at different angles. The last is a lap quilt that the blocks were just laid out. Now it is at the store to be quilted. In fact I need to pick it up today and hope to finish it out this weekend to take it to the office on Monday. My office is cold, and this will keep me warmer and make me happy.

I've written, and had published, a mystery novel that I think is quire clever. give it a read. You can see it at www.beestonken.com. Looking for ideas as to how to get it reviewed and some type of marketing strategy. the publisher wants to charge me an arm and a leg for the "service".
