Chapter I: An Impromtu Audience
You are traveling the road from Paris eastward to resupply and possibly spend the night in the Inn at Jamaisla. Knowing the hamlet is overtaxed by their overbearing Baron Boucher, his prison always overcrowded with starving locals who dared defy his decrees where otherwise they'd be considered minor infractions, you don't want to tarry long.
However your supplies are near gone. You are exhausted. You have no choice but to stop and take care not to agitate the powers that be.
As you near Jamaisla, you hear sweet music playing a short distance into the forest to the south. It beckons you...you feel you must find the source of this music...
