@FrayedBear Many times - fortunately my last two flights were pretty empty.

It’s strange looking up at the sky here and seeing no jet planes at all.

The only one I see is the NZ airforce Hercules type prop airplane going overhead most afternoons, landing at Whenuapai. I’m doing some work out there.

I see Oz is opening its borders to international flights. Won’t happen here until October. Presumably overseas visitors can’t enter NZ via Oz.

@Zealandia As I don't travel inter country or even state the last few years, it does not concern me. I see but don't hear very high jets on their way to Adelaide or Perth but not very often. I notice that vehicular traffic has increased slightly. Lockdowns have been blissfully quiet.
