Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Nice. I ran two classes - for two summers - called "Environmental photography". It was B & W only...and had to be "the environment" only. It was the old fashioned SLR/ film/Darkroom chemistry/enlarger strategy - the kids loved it...it was fun...and you have perfect examples here!

I have a 2 year associate's degree in photography from Hawkeye Institute of Technology in Waterloo, Iowa... way back in 1979 and it was all analog film and darkroom and studio skills. The first year was all B&W... very little post processing was possible beyond pencil and dye retouching. We learned how to get the desired effect in the camera with filters and exposure and processing control... when I moved to Alaska in 1991 I setup my own darkroom in my kitchen.
@FrostyJim Your background and experience shows....great pics! The snowcapped peak (#3) has amazing detail!
Really nice pics. I especially like number 3.
