The only way to end or prevent a two party system is with proportional representation.
That, or dictatorship.

Actually, I take back my first comment. What we need are TWO presidents --- a Domestic Affairs President and a Foreign Policy President -- each with their own VP, cabinet and staff.
The CIA, FBI, and Military should be outside the control of politicians.
There should be minimum education standards for positions --- i.e. you wouldn't hire a someone to teach in a medical school if they had a degree in history....so the people in leadership positions should have appropriate degrees, experience, and training.
Representatives from each state -- Congress and Senate should be paid a salary based on the average income level of their state.
We need campaign finance reform.
We need smaller government and less lobbyists and "paid for" legislation.
and soooooooooo much more needs revamped....................
