Read this recently. The authors are both from the group ProPublica. I recommend it, as it has a good discussion of manner in which rape has been viewed legally, which I hadn't encountered before in such a succinct form. It references Brownmiller's groundbreaking book, Femininity-a must-read for anyone wishing to be or raise a feminist.

Both of these men are topnotch in their field of investigative reportage. That alone says it's worth looking into.
