Glenn Greenwald’s Call Same as Bob Parry’s in 1995

After resigning from The Intercept when it suppressed one of his stories, Greenwald is calling for a new news outlet whose aim is the same as what the creator of this website established in November 1995.

When asked why he started Consortium News now 25 years ago, the late Robert Parry said he got fed up with the resistance he faced from editors at the Associated Press and Newsweek who put obstacles in the way of his stories, often of great national significance.

Quite frankly, if all the journalist and dissenting political commentators who have been fired and or fled fake news, united towards a journeyed sense of sanctuary that Consortium News provided since Parry's founding in 95, they would have managed to create a more legitimate monster to confront a growing corrupt construct from that period to today. Quite possibly had already been able to expose the crimes and unethical issue we are still being dealt today. I highlighted activist because they have become a large player in deception on our society. Genuine causes that are often allowed to be turned into deceptive message groups as they are bought out by millionaires, various think tank groups, eventually falling in line within party affiliation that always leads to a sense of control over previous intent designed to diminish.

Which was created for the same reason he now seeks to create another.
