These 7 states have the worst homelessness crises in the US. They also have some of the most expensive housing.
The Business Insider. Clearly a product of main stream media propaganda. Credit them for covering issues hard to find on the other main stream media outlets, but why. Would it be because their larger audience is most likely upper middle class and above? It's almost as if they use these issues to rub in our noses and give the wealthy a record of their accomplishments. Here we have an article with virtually no substance to address the problem, but maybe also within, the answer has been silently found for many cities. Could homeless dumping be that answer and the reason for the following?
(In that time, states with a relatively small number of homeless residents like Wyoming and South Dakota have seen an increase of more than 62%. North Dakota, meanwhile, has seen a troubling 71% rise in its homeless population. )
Homeless dumping began in the early 2000's. Cities to relieve cost on shelters and rent help began shipping homeless out via airfare and bus fares. Hell, one city would catch them at a point B then pay them to go back to point A or another city. So I have to wonder if the issue isn't better but the 3 places above have become staging homes for them.
