Does anyone follow Esther the Wonder Pig? I'm so totally in love with her and her family (2 dads, a pit bull, and a turkey). Esther's Kitchen has some great recipes. They have cooking/baking videos as well.

Canada’s new Food Guide has been released. What do you think? There is a second page to this guide giving suggestions on how to make better and healthier eating choices including cooking more and reading food labels.

I'm so excited for this. The Canadian Government invests $153 million into plant-based protein development.

This looks absolutely delicious. I will have to try it when the weather cools down again (which will be very soon, plus snow). Mushroom wild rice soup.

This popped up on my Facebook feed. Chickpea "tofu". I haven't tried the recipe but it seems very simple. The person who tried the recipe thought it was very easy and turned out well even the first try. This might be a good option...

Nice guide to egg replacers. I usually use apple sauce we make from apples from our own yard every summer. Or flax meal. I used to use bananas when I could still eat them.

Do you have pets that love veggies? I honestly cannot chop up veggies without my dogs crowding around my corner of the kitchen where I chop. I usually buy a lot of veggies at once and chop them into cooking/edible size and store them for use as ...

I had never been a fan of cornbread but I was challenged, let's just say by a Southern gent who grew up eating Mama's cornbread every meal, to make vegan cornbread. I tried this recipe. It was so easy and it turned out...

Do you have that one ingredient (or ingredients) that you are obsessed with and must put in just about everything you make or eat? My current obsession is hemp seeds, also chia seeds and nutritional yeast (aka nooch, aka vegan crack).
