Admin replies on Apr 22, 2018:
Oh please don't mark them as spam as it then makes other people's email go to spam! Just let me know and I can check. Line #1 of our emailing code checks if the member's account is active and if not, doesn't send email. So it typically is that the member didn't delete their account.

Even after fixing some of mine, they don't always stay fixed. Very annoying @Admin
phxbillcee comments on Apr 12, 2018:
Yeah, I just fixed 2 of mine, hopefully, they stay fixed. They were good when I posted them. This has happened before. Please check @Admin, thanks!
Admin replies on Apr 12, 2018:
Fortunately, the text has enough info left that I can restore the original... but I've not yet figure out what is causing some posts to have 'https' removed and others not. It appears that the post is fine for a while then gets changed by some internal script, right? That is, people can see the link fine until later. Note: I pushed code now that will "fix" the text when displaying it yet the original still is missing the https.
Why is there a picture of Hitch near me? is there on your welcome page, as well??
IAMGROOT comments on Apr 11, 2018:
Hi neighbor! Yes, I have that on my page too. Looks like a link to the Wiki on him. It's pretty subtle, I think, and does't really bother me, but kinda weird. LOL!
Admin replies on Apr 11, 2018:
@IAMGROOT yep, I just swapped out the "Tutorial" button that there for level 5 and under.

Admin comments on Apr 10, 2018:
30,000+ confirmed members so far... we should make a counter soon :)

@bingst Means they got a welcome email and clicked the "confirm" link in it so we know that their email is legit. About 80% of registrants do that.

Whoops... I didn't realize that "Transwoman" is often used as a derogatory term. I just updated 2 more places where that term is used here to include the space. I personally would like to have more gender identity terms here but opted to let members put it in their profile text than having too many search categories. Perhaps when we have a few million members it will be more useful.

Admin replies on Mar 27, 2018:
I admit that we've been swamped to take enough time to better vet postings here. The "fake news" issue is a hard thing to deal with as sometimes that appears "fake" is just an unpopular post and sometimes it's "fake". We've plans to give more tools other than "Like" for posts. Perhaps a "Possible Fake News" option?

Admin replies on Mar 27, 2018:
Correct, while we would love to be able to give professional advice to members or to allow others to take advice from others, we have to stay clear of that. However, we do encourage member to give personal support and even advice to one another. We will soon have group chat (ok, probably in 2 weeks) so that people can check in with each other then. We implemented "greeters" for new members of the site. Feel free to greet the new members of this group (click "View All" under "Members"). As someone who FINALLY decided to take anti-depressants 7 years ago... was a real game changer to realize that feeling "blue" was just a brain chemistry issue... I can see the benefits of community. Best wishes!
