Any person who puts themselves into the public eyes is open for investigation. He was very open and very public with his anti abortion stands and desire to see political people banned from communion. Also, as a Bishop, he had a higher standing in the church, thus, again more public scrutiny.

I lived near Dover, Pennsylvania when the whole b.s. of teaching intelligent design occurred. That cost the taxpayers 1.5 million in lost legal costs. It would have cost over 3 million, but those citizens suing opted to only collect legal fees and not the awarded damages as well.

Death rate dropped over time because the hospitals and doctors got better at saving people. 30k a day getting infected (STATISTICS)- includes so called healthy people. Long term health problems still exist for healthy people who get sick.
