I did, a number of years ago, vote neither R or D in our governor's race as the Dems put up a racist, strong arm leader from Scranton since they knew they would lose that contest and to shut him up. PA - the Tom Ridge years, sold his soul and career for Bush II. Anyway, all done. Except PA now has the greatest badass and intelligent Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman.

That reminded me of my old headmaster where I taught and my kids went to school. He said about one of my son's best friends, a biracial kid, Bodie isn't really black, he lives in a whiter world. I was just WTF. He walks and moves around the same world we all do, and yes he had some advantages going to a private school, but I'm sure he experienced forms of racism. He is all grown up now and the last time I saw him I asked how the Hell he ended up in Texas- he said Austin wasn't too bad.
