I don't know what the school curriculum teaches these days.

BufftonBeotch comments on Jun 22, 2018:
Generally fairly benign if it is not an extremist church. Free baby sitting for a couple hours.a night/afternoon/morning for a week. I see them as generally a recruitment drive because the parents will typically come to see the program at the end of the week. So they are not going to do anything to piss someone off. Butts it the pews = $$$ But if you didn't know the church was fairly benign I wouldn't risk it if your kid wasn't good at identifying bullshit when they see it. (An ashtray. That's pretty funny.)

Some days ago, I mentioned that my landlord exploits homeless women for sex.
BufftonBeotch comments on Jun 19, 2018:
That's horrible. I'd put up notices in shelters and other area his potential victims might frequent. Previous landlord was horrible, he lived on the premises, but a separate area and would walk in at all hours. I grew really paranoid about it, and began to think he might have cameras, like in the bathroom even. He just had that real perv vibe. I took to showering at night and was never comfortable there. I left a month early on a three month lease and took a hit of several hundred dollars even though he had a new renter lined up the day after I moved out. This was over four years ago. I love where I live now, I do share a house with another person, but I have my own completely private area with my own bathroom and my own mini kitchen. I do have use of the laundry area downstairs as well as the full kitchen if I chose, but as a singleton a toaster over/hot plate/crock pot/microwave will cover what I need nearly all the time.

My mother tried to push me to like Donny Osmond instead. Her - "Why don't you like hat cute little Osmond boy?" Me - "His songs are boring and he can't dance."
