What’s your views on the death penalty laws?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 12, 2018:
Well, fact is, some cops take it upon themselves to detain and execute people for suspicion of petty butglery and traffic violations. Yeah, those body cameas didn't solve this. They are trained to shout things like - "I'm in Fear for My LIFE!" "Gun! He has a Gun!" Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!Pow!
What, me worry?

How would you explain humanity to a visiting alien?

About as well as an ant would be able to persuade you not to pour kerosene into their nest and set it on fire. We would be pests that needed to be eradicated.

How to possibly tell your parents that you do not follow there religious beliefs?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 11, 2018:
I checked your profile and did see that you are still in H.S. I will have to admit, that I pretty much knew I was an Atheist before I even knew the word for it at a very young age. I also knew I had to "fake it", for any lack of a better word, as my mother was of a very extreme nature on the subject. You know your parents better than anyone. But you may need to get to the point self sufficiency first before you speak t them. You are still in school and I admire your will, but there have been kids kicked onto the streets for things like this. A strong will is priceless and something cherished, but it also so worthless it won't buy you a sandwich or a place out of the rain. This can wait until you have found a place of your own. Until then. Seek out places and people like this.

BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 10, 2018:
I do not meat every meal. Not because of the specific cruelty to the animals, which is not something I like to think about. Because I really really really really like meat. It is also very much harder on the environment to try to grow grain to nourish an animal to maturity.. Well for a cow at least. A pig can be fed on restaurant slop. A goat will eat your shrubs. Chickens can be fed cheaply and will eat the bugs in your yard.
Just thinking.

BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 10, 2018:
My last husband was 14 years older and my more recent live in was 12 years younger. The more recent was a significantly better relationship. Not saying everyone in his generation is of this opinion, but seeing me as an equal partner seemed to come naturally to him.
A cosmology question.
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 10, 2018:
Well, there is also the idea that even at light speed you are speaking of maybe a third or fourth generation born and raised on a ship that are going to have an obviously very different culture and outlook. But I think between galaxies as that might be very cold and barren. Like the darkest highway ever.
Do you like your buns toasted?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 10, 2018:
For pulled pork BBQ usually yes. for hot roast beef even more so. For pastrami or a Reuben almost always. For meat ball sub yes. Hot ham and cheese no. Hamburger generally no. I can be weirdly specific. No hatin' lol. Looking more closely at that, I guess it has to do with saucy sandwiches not becoming a drippy sloppy mess too fast.

I've been told by some who are "into" that kind of a thing I'm a natural witch. I really don't believe that with any seriousness anymore than I believe any other woo. I am able to shock people with a prediction or insight fairly regularly, but I don't really see that as anything outside of normal (or paranormal as it is called.) I think my perceptions of people's moods and outside events was just honed to hyper-sensitivity during my childhood. It was not horribly abusive. But it could get dramatic. And I don't like personal drama.

Do animals have "souls"
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 8, 2018:
I said no because I hate the word "soul" and all of its implications. Dead is dead. I do not believe in any sort of awareness after death. Now. If however you are asking if animals can have an awareness of self. If an animal can then have an awareness of others outside its own self. If an animal can have the capacity to love or hate?. If an animal has the capacity to choose to be selfish or altruistic? If an animal can choose to kill for the joy of killing or if they will intervene in a thrill kill or even just bullying? If that is what you are saying. Then yes. Animals are are way more self aware and conscious than we generally want to acknowledge. It means we humans aren't that special as all those books say.

Another kite story.
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 6, 2018:
When I was little I got a kite amazing high. Winding out on a stick I had stuck in the hole on the string. It was blazing through that string. And then the end of the string came and there was nothing I could do but watch it continue to soar until it was out of sight. I was shocked and really only sad for a second or two. Because it was an amazing thing to see. It was like watching Elsa wander off to live her free wild life.

What record album/cassette/cd/8-track/reel-to-reel/song on the radio/VIDEO changed your life?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 4, 2018:
The one that first and emotionally still has my soul in its teeth is Purple Rain. I also remember the first song I ever responded to as a child. Backseat of some Dodge. My dad only bought Dodge. And Kaw-Liga. First song I remember on the radio catching my full attention. My little 3-4 year old self attempted those notes and failed miserably and my dad laughed, but not in a mean way. I've still never hit those notes.
How would you react?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 4, 2018:
I would be livid. My son's father did that after our divorce. He also had long blonde curls. And not just any haircut but a severe military type buzz cut. . He was maybe three in a half, or a little older and he looked in mirror shortly after and very sadly said that he wasn't cute anymore. Tore my heart out. He grew it long again as a teenager. Then had a mohawk for awhile, thankfully that was a short-lived phenomena. As for future possible haircuts, depending on the size of your community could you visit local barbers or salons and let them know of the issue?
