I love my kids more than anyone else & I got them some chocolate dipped strawberries & other chocolates & Oreos. I don't tend to spend money on cards any more. They just seem very overpriced. More than I can afford right now anyway. I got my boyfriend a scented candle because he likes those, & some sugar free cookies because he's diabetic.

Similarly, the hotel I work at makes us throw away toilet paper rolls that are too small to leave in the guest rooms, along with the shampoos etc. & when the free breakfast is over that all has to be thrown away too. Employees can get fired for salvaging any of it.
