With daughter Camille last Spring at one of the many Columbia Gorge waterfalls. I live in the Gorge and hiking is one of the joys.

My beloved riding horse Splash. She was a great show horse who soured on showing. I bought her and took the bit out of her mouth. She recovered and rode with just a halter the rest of her life. She died suddenly last winter.  I have yet to replace her.

I'm divorced with a medium sized family that is very important to me. I'm pretty solitary though most people say I am outgoing and friendly. So, to my family I am silly and supportive, strong when I need to be, but mostly loving and always forgiving. With others I am as gregarious and charming as the situation requires, until I am comfortable.

I wound up a very stressful business situation this spring and after years either sitting at a desk or in meetings (I was the boss) I have embarked on a physical fitness/ health/weight loss program that includes veganism and lots of walking. I am diabetic and have had a small heart attack, so this is important.
