As an atheist growing up in the South, I have found it quite difficult to find like-minded folks because after all, it is the Bible Belt. I have also have grown disgusted with many progressives that have the closed-mindedness that would make a fundamentalist Christian blush. Intellectually, I find as if I am a man without a country.
