Gone 'full time' now (even at work) so I suppose it's about time I started referring to myself as a trans woman. My gender identity is 'gender atheist' - I see gender entirely as an anachronistic set of rules, dictating social roles and norms, much like religion. But I begrudgingly accept that I live in a society that isn't ready to throw away gender just yet. From that perspective, I like being gendered as feminine and dislike being gendered as masculine.
Not going down the medical route. I've had surgery previously to improve an intersex condition, but I'm broadly happy with the way the equipment works at this point. Besides, I've seen bottom surgery go horribly wrong for too many people. I don't want it badly enough to take the risk.Full Bio
