I have thought about this kind of situation in the past. Say someone volunteers at a homeless shelter they do it to help other people which are beyond cool however their motivation is way more sinister than initially appears. When I had lived in Pennsylvania deer whistles were a must. Here in New Mexico, I have them on both of my vehicles. We have deer elk and the occasional gazelle running down the freeway. Last year we had a couple of badgers in the middle of the road the deer whistles even worked on them.
