In my 30s, I started gaining weight. When I had stop working out, I really added the pounds, I got very sick in my late 40s until my early 50s and lost 50 pounds, in the years since, I have tried just about every diet short of drugs, but I haven't been able to lose weight except when I have been too sick to keep anything down or even eat. So nothing has worked.

I too am a survivor of the trump republican virus. Even though I have relative immunity to reinfection, I still follow all of the safety protocols. I just got back from a trip. I unpacked in the laundry room, completely emptying my backpack, I washed everything I had packed whether it was worn or not, I disinfected my backpack and hung it to dry on the patio, then straight to the shower. These precautions are not for me, but just in case I might have come in contact with a silent spreader, I did not wish to infect someone else.

I was wrong. If someone likes ketchup on their steak, or wants it burned beyond all recognition, not my problem as long as they don't expect me to eat it that way. (I tried it once, didn't like it). Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I thought I had this birthday all planned. We had a weather delay, so the plane was late and we had to combine with another flight. Got to Las Vegas late, there were no rental cars even though I had reservations, took a cab to the hotel and decided to blow off my picture trips. The steakhouse I planned on eating at tonight is closed until further notice. My room was not what I normally get, went to the casino and hit a nice jackpot, made reservation at a steakhouse, If nothing else, I remain flexible and will enjoy this trip.
