The only person that can threaten a relationship are the people in it. I have always been the biggest threat to my relationships, since I am the only one I can control. If I or the other (s) in the relationship feel that they are not getting everything they need, then they should get it. My rule of thumb is that if I don't let a person grow and expand, then they will die on the vine. A relationship is a partnership, not an ownership.
