Why bother, everyone has the right to his or her own beliefs just as you do. If they realize the fallacy of their beliefs on their own, than good for them. I respect everyone's right to believe, or not to believe in anything that they choose. I just do not want them to try to force their beliefs onto me, and I do not force mine onto them.

I used to dream that I could fly in my dreams. It could be because I collected and read comic books like Superman, X-men, Iron man growing up. I never wanted to wake up from those dreams because in real life I was normal.

Tips for moving out of state

Look online and see what jobs are advertised in the area that you plan to move to. When you are ready to make the move, apply and head down. I cannot stress it enough, in Florida a car is a necessity. You will need it to go to interview and to get to work. In the summer time you will appreciate that car when the heat hits you and you don't have to wait for a bus for 25 minutes or it's past 8 pm and it is still 90 degrees and the buses only comes once an hour up till 9 pm and then no more public transportation after that.

Do not sell your car. In Florida you will not be able to function without one. Public transportation is not good at all. Not like New York. You will definitely need a car to get to work or to even go to the store. What part of Florida are you moving to?

My nephews and nieces each have a favorite meal that each of them like me to cook for them, so I have many different meals that I love to cook because it makes them happy. One likes southern fried chicken, one likes shrimp Alfredo, one likes curry chicken, one likes beef ribs, one likes corned beef, one likes coconut fish and shrimp curry. All of them likes rice and beans and baked macaroni and cheese made with Parmesan and Romano cheese.

On some of the site, anyone can post a picture and a profile for free. However in order to view a message from another member, or to answer the member one has to subscribe and pay. they may not want to pay and cannot access your message. I had a friend who was on as a paid member, and when he unsuscribed, they kept taking thier montly payments from his account for four months. He had so much trouble trying to get them to stop and to try and get his money back. I don't think he ever got his money back.

There is a a store called Food Town that I go to that sells food from every corner of the world. It is a huge super store with one or two isles dedicated to different parts of the world. Korean, Chinese, Jamaican, Haitian and other Caribbean countries, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh, Middle eastern, Different African nations. They also have fresh vegetables from those countries and fresh meat that people from those counties are used to cooking. All kind of different spices from all over the world.

I can stay out late and not having to check with anyone. Not getting the evil eye for arriving late. I can go to any restaurant and try different food without checking with anyone. I usually say something funny when I answer on a post, but I am going to be serious on this one. Unfortunately to get an answer to that question, I believe that an immigrant would be probably give the best answer in today's environment. As an immigrant myself who moved to this country when I was eleven years old, I will give it a shot and try to answer it from my point of view ant that of a lot of first generation Americans. I have friends from all corners of the world who now reside in the United States. From Muslims counties in the middle east, from central and south America, from the Caribbean Islands, from Africa and from Europe. This is what we all love about this country. We all came here at a young age consider ourselves Americans. Some of have served in the U.S. military. The fact that we can criticize a Senator, a Congressman, a President in the open without the fear of disappearing, imprisoned or being killed is a new found concept that the rest of America will never experience and have any fear of. The concept of a public school system where you can learn to read and write, and have the opportunity to go to college or a university is not a guarantee to most of the world. I know several of you have heard others talk about people who come from other countries, and when they get a house or an apartment there are three generations of an extended family of fifteen or more living in a three bedroom domicile. What most people here do not understand is that those family pull together to help each other, because back in their country of origin they had no home, no job and no food to eat, so that three bedroom house or apartment is a luxury compare to what they had. The concept of three meals a day is a luxury and the ability to have a job, even a a low paying job that only immigrants will do give them the ability to feed a family. When someone is walking down the street and he or she sees a police car or a military vehicle driving down that street. Imagine that your only choice is to run as fast as you can and hide and hope they do not see you, because if they catch you, your family will never see you again. That is a reality. Imagine the religious police coming to your house or work and telling you and your family and co-workers that you must stop whatever you are doing and go to morning or afternoon prayer. Imagine being afraid for anyone to find out that you are an Atheist because you would be killed. Yes, we have a Dick in the white house, but the American dream is still attainable for me and many others. I have a roof over my head, I got an education, I do not run when I see a police officer or a soldier, no one forces me to worship any god, I can apply for any job that I want to do, I am not starving, I can continue...

I have a small freezer because I buy meat and fish for a few months at a time and it saves me money. It does not use a lot of electricity. I am from the Caribbean islands originally and I buy natural chicken and meat and its cheaper to get them in quantity.

The majority of them do not follow what they preach. They use the bible for convenience. They break all of the commandments that they claim were given by god for all mankind to follow. They pick and choose part of the bible that fits whatever their agenda is at the time, and any part of the bible does not fit their agenda, they change the meaning of it to make it fit.

I am one who believe that in this vast universe, we are not the only planet that has intelligent life as its inhabitant. Ii am a skeptic however when it comes to some of those ancient alien theories, because I can make several logical arguments to debunk some of those theories. However, I was watching the news a few months back, and one of the news footage was about an a UFO that was filmed by a military aircraft pilot and several aeronautical experts said that no one on earth has the technology to perform what that aircraft did. They other day as I was watching the news again, they were talking about how digital cameras zoomed in and saw that Donald Trump had the responses in his hand, when he had the survivors from the Florida school shooting in the white house. They also said that it was not the first time the the news media was able to zoom in on presidential papers. They showed and aid carrying the secret presidential daily briefing and not covering the first page. They zoomed in and showed the lines saying that Intelligence reports have noticed that Alien surveillance of military bases and nuclear weapon storage bases have increased in the United States. I am not sure what to think about that.

I am in my second career in Insurance and retirement planning. I work with seniors who are retiring and going on medicare and help them choose the right insurance to cover their co-pays and out of pocket expense for their Medicare and final expense. I am in the south and would not even be allowed in the door if any of them knew that I was an Atheist.

I learned to shoot in the military, and I like to shoot guns. I do not need to own an assault rifle. I have no problem with going to a shooting range and renting a gun and shoot it for an hour. That should be sufficient to meet that macho need that everyone has to have a gun. A Legal business where someone can rent a gun for a period of time, and an instructor can teach you how to shoot, and you can go shoot whenever you want and then leave the gun at that business.

They will offer their prayers and then dismiss any talk about passing any substantial laws to fix the problem. It is all for show. Remember years ago, Pat Roberson was interviewed showing that he was loading his private plane with food that he was personally sending to the famine stricken areas in Africa. I never found the right woman to have a child with, and I do not want to be a part time weekend father. I have a hard time when my nephews and nieces leave after spending the day or the weekend with me.

Dark mater not yet proven, hypothesized as an unknown force that binds the other known forces of the universe and is being studied. No one claims that it needs to be worshiped or that it kills and punishes those who do not believe of follows it. Dark matter does not have a chosen people. We are in our infancy when it comes to science and if we do not destroy ourselves, we will discover moer and more over the next thousands of years. I doubt that god will ever appear in front of us.

We all have our unique likes and dislikes. I am not surprised. In some cultures public kissing is frowned upon and is taboo.

That is the reason for religion. Fear of the unknown. That is why people gravitate toward religion. They promote fear and then tells you that if you follow them your will no longer have anything to fear.

I buy Indian spices at the Indian store, but they are already premixed for Marsala Curry, Korma, Jhalfreezi, Vindaloo and others. I would love it if I could find the spice boxes with each individual spices and a recipe book that breaks down the combinations for these dishes.
