I feel you brother, I am the same way, but I am trying let things go. It is hard for me to forgive someone who hurts me. I think it is because I am someone who goes out of my way not to hurt anyone, and when someone does it to me it is hard for me to forgive and forget. However after seeing the news report, the employee was justified in defending himself and his coworkers. i would have done the exact thing if I was in that situation. In that case it is justified. They were committing a felony, and threatening people. the employee had no way to know that the gun was a BB gun. What if the guy shot an employee in the eye with that BB gun, What if it was a real gun. What if they bad guy started shooting people. This is not a case of taking the law into your own hand. This is self defense. THIS WAS JUSTIFIED.

You need to pack your things and leave. The abuse will never stop unless you stop it. I remember two cases that I worked back in 1990 and 1991 as a police officer. The first one, the woman kept getting abused, but refused to file charges against her husband because it would ruin his reputation. the neighbors kept calling and each time the police responded to that house, she refused to press charges. He finally killed her a few years later. The second one was the same and she refused to press charges. Finally she committed suicide rather than live in that abusive marriage. the laws were changed soon around that time, and if there was any sign of abuse, someone went to jail whether or not the victim wanted to press charges or not. Call the police so that there is a document of the abuse. it will help you in court. GET OUT OF THERE.

Yes I did. Unfortunately it was a girl that I was interested in. We started talking, and the more she talked the less interested I became. She believes that we are closer to the sun than scientist tells us. The space station is not really up in space and it is a hoax. At first it does not. I tell them that I am not interested. i explain to them that I respect their rights to believe, and they should respect my rights. If they will not stop, then I ask them if they believe that their god gave me free will, then they are subverting god's intention and they should not play god and take that right away from me. By then most usually stop. If they don;t then I show them how stupid their beliefs are by pointing out inconsistencies from the bible.

I saw a documentary on the discovery channel once about a small group of Germans in the early 1900's that moved to South America and wanted to keep their race pure. They did not mingle with the local population because they considered them inferior beings. I respect the fact that he was honest and upfront with you. Some guys and women only want a sexual relationship. Others are at a point in their lives where they want a life partner. I have been in both places. At one time all I wanted was a sexual relationship and it worked out fine for me and my friend. I had too many things going in my life and I was unable to fully commit to a relationship, but I was upfront with that with her. You may be a good friend with him, but you may not know everything that he has gone through. He may have good reason for not wanting to be in a fully committed relationship.

Not everyone nowadays is able to kill another human being as if it is a casual and normal part of life. As an example, soldiers who suffers from P.T.S.D., I have friends who served in wartime and are having a hard time adjusting to the fact that they killed someone, even though they were trained to do so. I also know some police officers who shot someone and have a hard time and suffer from P.T.S.D. after that. We have evolve to the point that killing is not an easy thing to do. I know some people that cannot even bring themselves to kill an animal. I was in the military and I was a police officer and I am so glad that I never had to kill anyone. I came close to shooting someone and I am so glad that it did not happen.

Do not get in a relationship because you are afraid of being alone. One can be in a relationship and still be alone. I would rather be alone, than be in a bad relationship. I have not been in a relationship for over five years, and I am happy with my life. If and when I find the right woman, she will have to be able to add substance to my life as I add substance to hers. I am not lonely or depress because I am not in a relationship. Learn to be happy with who you are. When the right person comes along, that person will make your life better. When I meet a woman nowadays, I am more careful, and I take my time to get to know her. So far I have not met he right woman, and I am able to disqualify the ones that are not right for me a lot faster now, Hang in there and do not settle for just anyone. You will find the right one.

I believe that if someone is just depressed, society should do everything to help and treat that person. However if someone is terminally ill, or near the end of life and is suffering than that person should be allowed to make that decision and leave this earth with dignity. The police are not being trained to kill civilians. What is happening is that the wrong people are getting hired as police officers. It is only a few members of that group that keeps doing the same bad things. They mistreat people, the think that the badge give them the right to do anything. I know several people that had bad experiences with police officers. I know a few bad police officers that should never have been hired. I am an black man and an ex cop. I have seen and heard things that should never been said and done. Believe me it is a small majority of police officers. There are more bad ones in the southern states.

It would never work because the bomber would try to explain to the victims the steps the bomb goes through in order to detonate. The chemical reactions, the way of connecting the wires, the elements in the bomb, the electrons, protons and neutrons in each of them, how the reaction occurs. By that time the police would show up and tell the bomber that he needs to come to the station and explain all that to them, and the bomber would get frustrated and give the vest to the police and say forget it.

I don't tell any religious person that dead scientists are waiting for them in the afterlife to reward or punish them for their beliefs.

When a guy go out on a date and I spend money buying new clothes($60-$100), take her out to a nice restaurant($80-$120), go to a show($100-$200). Does that guy hope that that investment leads to sex; maybe not the first date, but the second or third date. He is still paying for it and he is gambling on the result. When another guy pays upfront for sex, he is doing the same thing without the gamble- unless it is an undercover police officer- and he "knows" it will lead to sex. Something to think about. I have a problem with people who forces others into prostitution. Police should target those sex traffickers. No one should be forced into prostitution. I believe it should be regulated and the participants tested and educated about the risks. I will not judge anyone who partake in this lifestyle. I knew someone who had a disability and was mentally challenge a bit. He was never able to be in a regular relationship. He finally lost his virginity at the age of 48 years of age by going to a prostitute.

It is very hard to meet others who think the way that I do. I have two co-workers who are Agnostics like me and the rest of them are not. The sad thing is that the three of us keep our beliefs to ourselves so as to not cause any tensions in the work place. No, I would not want to be alive and everyone that i loved and knew were gone. The quality of life would not be good. Modern medicine can extend your life, but the quality is not going to be as good. I would not want to just be alive and exist and be a burden to anyone. If I am alive and cannot perform simple things like feeding myself, taking a shower and other daily activities would not be considered living for me.

Unfortunately I deal with a lot of religious people in my line of work. I had a bumper sticker that says "Atheism is Myth Understood". I would never make any money in my current line of work if I had it on my car.

I have two brothers who became Muslims and the rest of my family are Christians and I have friends who are Jewish. The internet providers are saying that they will not slow down any sites or charge to visit any sites. Yea right! Give them a little more time and their greed will rear its ugly head. If their is away to make more money they will find a way to suck it out of the consumer. Don't get me wrong, i believe in making money, but there is a point where enough is enough. Too much greed is destroying society. Capitalism can only work in a democracy with rules and regulations and protection for the populous.

The pill does not control morality. I love women, but I do not force myself onto them. When I ask a woman out and she says no, I take no as an answer and respect their decision. These assault have been going on for centuries, the only difference is that women are not keeping quiet anymore. They need to change the rules of civil court about non disclosure settlements. A lot of women have spoken up, and then are threatened and silenced by the non disclosure rule. They are also faced with the fact no one will believe them, and they would be called liars and whores by the people and companies they are accusing. Look at our own congress where several law makers were accused of sexual harassment, and the women were paid off and silenced. The public have been paying for it, and the public never knew about it.

Most would deny the evidence and continue to worship a myth. Unfortunately some would lose of aspect of decency and commit the most horrific acts since they would not have any fear of any consequences in the afterlife. Some will look for a different kind of belief system because they have to have some kind of outside belief system to validate their life.

They are the only news organizations that got sued by two former employees for being fired for refusing to broadcast a story that is not true. Fox lost the case in the regular court and when they filed an appeal, their argument was that they are a business and they are not under oath, therefore does not have to tell the truth. The appeal court agreed with them and ruled that they did not have any constitutional mandate to tell the truth and they are covered under the first amendment of freedom of speech. Research it. It happened over ten years ago.
