Especially after a few decades on this rock and having been through other relationships, we all bring bits of ourselves that may or may not suit another person all the time. What I don't care for in this is use of the term "settling", which implies a negative impression. Those feelings will lead to wanting to change something about another person, which is always doomed. I think "accepting" is healthy and realistic, giving respect to another's personality, history, and uniqueness, as we would expect in return.

I knew someone who made their own coconut kefir, though it had the texture and body of a lightweight milk yogurt, and it was great! You may try a google search for coconut culture (some lady somewhere??), which he used, and got cases of organic coconut milk on Amazon. Once you have the starter culture you can just keep it going, definitely possible!

On October 15 I realized it would have been the 42nd (!) anniversary of my first marriage, at a time I truly and innocently saw that as being for the rest of my life, had never even dated anyone else! It's stil bittersweet after so many years, but the pain has faded (ya, he was a cheater), and comforting now to take my mind and heart back to a place where that happily-ever-after was very real and viable to me.
