Arguably one of the best, most influential rock/pop albums of all time, the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds", celebrated its 50th anniversary a couple years ago. Upon its release, the track "God Only Knows" received little to no airplay in the bible belt because it was considered blasphemous. LOL! Now some of us may be compelled to dismiss the song for its reference to God (and that's fine), but others - me included - will simply shrug off that particular lyric as a non-religious colloquialism.

This was the theme song to a great HBO seriies "Big Love"about polygamy in modern times. Love the song. Tom Hanks produced the series.
