God works in mysterious ways. He was able to shrink down existence within the ark to accommodate these millions of animals. An elephant was shrunken down to the size of a pea. BOOM!!! Problem solved!!! There was still room for Noah's bowling alley and stripper pole after all was said and done. God is the man!!!

Yeah, it's a story that requires multiple layers of special pleading to take literally. A wooden ship that size would break up in normal waters, so God had to have strengthened it somehow. And no one else had a boat? And no evidence of a global flood, they'd figured that one out by 1830. Biblical literalists are unfazed by facts sadly.

There is evidence of a great flood, which could have been from the ice age melting. Ancient man would have found some diety or story to explain it, since anything their science couldn't explain was then the gods or god's fault
@LadyAlyxandrea No evidence of the continents being covered with water as described in the Bible. The sea level rise at the end of the last ice age was about 2.5 metres per century at most. There certainly have been enormous regional floods though, likely referred to one of those.
