I hear that too. You also have to remember in the Bible God gives humans dominance over the entire creation. I feel the opposite, I think mankind has a responsibility to care for its life support system the earth.

It is time for the human race to mature and get rid of fairy tales and imaginary friends. Just like individuals, we cannot collectively survive if we don't. Reality is at times hard, but it is reality and needs to be dealt with.

Just rape the planet in pursuit of greed and Republican Jesus will fix everything. Why should humans ever be accountable for their actions when god will always rescue them? I loathe the hypocrisy of telling the LGBTQ community how their lifestyles are sinful, but are perfectly fine with oil pipelines and fracking wells near schools. Is it not sinful to place a higher value on profit than on human life? Is it not sinful to take healthcare away from children so billionaires can have a tax cut?

If evangelicals told you, don't worry the world is flat, would you believe that?

That is the mind set of people I know and most of my family members . I just wish they would leave it all in their god's hands and not vote. Ironically, they think god needs their votes but not their efforts to preserve the planet of which he supposedly made them stewards.

Back to my freind who disregards human activities toxic effect on the planet. Abortion was another subject. My freind is adamantly against abortion which I have no problem with but I tried to discuss the importance of keeping are planet viable for future generations, but still no clarity could I find in her mind!....be fruitful and multiply! Just don't drink the water or breathe!

I know one fellow who has all his guns stockpiled for the big ending. He's going to prevail, and kill all the godless liberals. You know, if you don't believe in god, surely you have to be a liberal. If you don't love Trump, surely you are in bed with the devil himself (Hilary Clinton). All that news on the environment and stuff...fake!!! I live in a dangerous place, because there are a lot of others like him here. So I'm a single successful woman, living in Trumpland....and I'm a little scared.

What hypocrisy. One of the many inconsistencies in the beliefs and behaviors of FAR TOO MANY purportedly religious people!
