I think I have good news. I have struggled with my job since I started, almost 2 years. It has financial and legal components which are a stretch for me. The medical stuff I've pretty much got. It's a very stressful job, and I am stressed out!!! The benefits are really good and the office culture is very healthy. But when I mess up, which sadly is often enough I'm always afraid they're going to say enough. I'm stressed out enough that I made a list of stuff I want/need to do once I am not working. Aside from not having health insurance I wouldn't be devastated if I got fired. Then I do something right... really right, I got kudos from high up, the feedback is great. Also I have improved my skills. I had a great meeting today with my manager and my job is still secure. On the one hand, crap I gotta go back to work tomorrow; on the other hand, hey paychecks keep coming and INSURANCE! I just wanna hang on til I qualify for Medicare, if it is still around.

I hear you, but I hate the job I do now, I dread going to work everyday, I hate it with a passion, but the benefits are good, I’m Guaranteed 40 hours a week and I may be soon right back behind the wheel driving that’s the part of this job that I’ve always loved, that’s the only reasons I stick around.

Maybe the "higher ups" realize what a difficult and stressful job you have to do and that's why they appreciate the work you do despite the hurdles.

yes, our workload is a frequent topic of discussion from the senior staff, and some changes have been made to lighten the load. We do have fairly high turn over which. Seems my company and a company down the road keep trading employees. Many people have worked at both at some point in their career. Both are insurance/financial companies and both have LTD and STD, Life, AD, etc.
