Then this happened [chicago.cbslocal.com]
How long do you think it'll be before some republican bar owner bans a liberal hat and the republicans will think it's just fine.
Link didn't come thru. I was born and raised there , strong Demo county back then , now I don't know.
@buzz13 Let's see if this one works. Replay Lincoln Park isn't banning MAGA hats after all but hopes to engage guests in conversation

@buzz13 It's still pretty strongly leaning left, but many of the suburbs are republican... like mine.
@TheoryNumber3 Worked at lot of the northern and northwest suburbs businesses, schools and hospitals. I remember they were highly Republican in the 80's
stars upon thars
@buzz13 Yes, that's where I am. Lots of righties
@TheoryNumber3 Poor dear, I feel your pain, I'm in Florida now.
@buzz13 Is it any better there? Florida's pretty conservative isn't it? BTW it's going to be close to 100 degrees this weekend here in Chicago. Not my cuppa boiling hot tea
@TheoryNumber3 In 2016 election I was the only one on my block with a Hillary sign, the rest were Trump. Sad part is that it's a 55+ mobile home community, you'd think common sense would have prevailed.
It rarely if ever gets that hot here, avg. summer temp 88 F. but the sun is tough on you, seek shade a lot.
