People seem to get riled up nowadays due to politics which are almost always unwarranted, etc. I suppose life didn't turn out how they thought it would. I don't really know but I try my best to stay away from those who just get hysterical. That's really what I see.

I paid for a bike & they tacked on $30 for kick stand & bottle holder.... (which I'd already paid for on the other bike i turned in????)
Yes I'm a tad butthurt. If they weren't an otherwise awesome shop I'd be super pissed. Still, feel like i got shaken down. ?

@Redcupcoffee eh, I got a Trek Neko 1 that was determined to kill me. Kept it for almost a month, altho hardly rode it(the whole murder bike thing), then returned it. Maybe that was their "zing" altho they were great about letting me trade it for something else (better) otherwise.
If you ever want very individual attention & be measured for a bike that's the place to go, but they do charge.
Usual stuff. Stupid drivers, saw an accident on the way home, the dust was still in the air. People yelling and waving fists. All I want is for people to pay attention so I can get home to my baby kitties.

@Redcupcoffee My girlies will always be babies, one is almost two and one is about a year now. So mostly grown, but always babies. They will never grow up and ask for the car keys.
oh wait ... I have one. Betsy DeVos. She and her family have a deep financial interest in this christian "adoption" agency (Bethany Christian Services). This place won a government contract to host the children of asylum refugees separated by this new "zero tolerance" policy of Trumps' at a rate of $700 PER DAY. Yes, I said $700 per day. 81 of them so far. That's $1.8 million per month to keep kids in chain-link cages and feed them the government cheese ... and if the parents get deported the agency files an "abandonment" claim and adopts the children out to their christian friends for a price. It's nothing but a scam to make money off the taxpayers and turn foreigners into baptists.

@Redcupcoffee they refuse to speak to anyone. I saw them taking those kids into the garage of the home they are staying at in Detroit. They happened to have film of that on TV on CNN I believe it was. $700/day. It just blows my mind how they rip off the American taxpayers and act all cavalier about it.
