Sometimes when the wind is blowing the leaves on trees it looks like there are hundreds of little tree hands waving at me. My son caught me waving back when he was about 5 and asked me what I was doing, lol. I told him waving at the tree and explained it to him. Neither of my sons bat an eye when I do it anymore, like they've accepted their mom is off her rocket. I feel I'm just preparing them for all the nutjobs they're going to meet in life 🙂

this should be implemented in every city:

When You Give a Tree an Email Address
The city of Melbourne assigned trees email addresses so citizens could report problems. Instead, people wrote thousands of love letters to their favorite trees.

@pepperjones YW. I enjoyed that little article... very inspiring and human.

This is so lovely! What a delight!

I enjoy the rustling of the leaves of the poplar tree. I also enjoy when the air is still and only a couple of leaves start waving. Thanks for reminding me of that.

I high five trees I can reach when I take bike rides. I'm mentally complimenting them on growing so well.

Waving at trees: If you told me that when I was a kid it would have made perfect sense. If you told that to me today? It would make perfect sense. A couple of years ago, I went into the woods to rehearse; where I sang to them (the trees). I think they liked it. After all, birds are beautiful, but I think that maybe I was a welcome change. 😉

I think you are gloriously connected to world around us. You choose to be part of, not separate from the this grand living system know as the planet earth. Share that with your kiddos so they may pass that grand vision of the world onto their children. More like you and we may have a chance so share this planet for a few more generations.

@pepperjones Thank you for sharing. I hope you write poetry. If not start 🙂

@pepperjones Lovely. And we can all use a bit more honest flattery beautiful person.

My kids have not gotten to the stage of calling me a nerd yet I expect it to happen any day. I talk to my dog, cats ducks curse at the chickens. Wear red suspenders because belts hurt my waist. Ware socks with sandals.

I've noticed trees waving too! Sometimes they appear to be waving when there is no breeze. It's really an odd thing

@pepperjones Always made me happy to see it

@pepperjones They have big leaves to wave with 🙂

Haha! That's not crazy, that's having a fan base!

I get memorized by the leaves doing that.

@pepperjones is known as scintillating I wonder? Different shades on either side of leaves make for a very cool effect.

@pepperjones I don't know many people who notice such things.
