Both she and her husband Diego Rivera carried on numerous affairs, and Frida even had affairs with Diego's mistresses, and American painter Georgia O'Keeffe. Her husband had an affair with Frida's sister. They divorced and remarried and continued having affairs.

@Stargazer13 It's weird that most women have this Disney love view, in view of reality. But it seems to be necessary for cis hetero women to have this view, for them to actually MARRY a man. They have to see them in a romantic light, and be blind to reality.
That's a nice dream but totally unrealistic and a recipe for desaster. Only your own inner peace will save you. Looking for an answer outside yourself will always disappoint.

Undeserving? No. I just think that whole kind of perspective is a little childish. To expect any real person to behave the way that poem portrays a person to behave is completely unrealistic. This is pure fantasy. Real people don’t behave that way.

Actually Sir Orfeo was based upon Orpheus, but they exchanged the underworld for the world of faerie. It seemed appropriate: fantasy for fantasy.

I am 46 years old, and I can honestly say that I believe that I have never been truly loved by a man. They wanted me for selfish reasons, or to turn me into what they wanted me to be, or weren't willing to love me enough to fight for me. I learned a long time ago that if I don't love myself, no one will, lol.
