Just finished mowing my yard (it took 3 days), and my late husband hated the way I mow. I don't do the straight lines, more circles. Yes, it took 3 days because of the heat. However, here is my question....Do you mow in straight lines or circles? My theory is that nothing (or very little) in nature happens in straight line.

dad taught us to mow in overlapping lines, starting on top of any hill. It's probably most efficient.
Natural light travels in straight lines. as the crow flies is a straight line. Besides, the mower always wobbles a little.

I start at the edges and mow in toward the center - on the riding mower anyway. It's more like a circle than a straight line but it gets the job done. I can't even draw a straight line much less mow one.
