Moon starring Sam Rockwell. Great movie. Sparked weeks of conversation on moral/ethical dilemma.

I forgot some too...

Wow!

@JohnINFP thank you, I think. ?

@Sirena Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind confused the crap out of me lol

@JohnINFP you honestly have to watch it a few times to really get it.

@Sirena ok thanks I'll try a couple more times : )

This one may be a reach but the Godfather saga.

The Abyss
Ex Machina
American History X
The Legend of 1900
All the other good movies have been named and few I have to watch now.

TV Shows:
Star Trek - the main reason I love this show is for the philosophical content. Favorites are The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine.

Westworld

Ex Machina one of my all time favorites
Alot of awesome women in that cast.
I fell in love with Ava - Alicia Vikander a beautiful robot. The Turing Test

All you'd need to watch is 'blade runner'!

I vote Dogma and Harold and Maude

I love both those films. I would say Dogma is more theological but Harold and Maude, spot on.

2

Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure

Pan's Labyrinth

The devil in miss jones, debbie does dallas, deep throat.

@minhmeister Well son, when I was making babies you were playing with toy soldiers, so stay in your lane... My member is both mythology and philosophy. But you will never get to know.

Not strictly speaking philosophical, more a moral dilemma. Sophie’s Choice, where Meryl Streep as Sophie is forced by Nazi officer to choose which child, her son or her daughter will be gassed or merely sent to a labour camp. The alternative to her not chosing one over the other, that both will be gassed. She chooses her son to be saved and is haunted by this decision for the rest of her life.

The Life of Brian
The Great Gatsby
The Truman Show
The Matrix
Three Colours: Blue, White and Red
...
There are too many to list.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

1

The Nines (one of the best performances of Ryan Reynolds' career)

A Clockwork Orange, though the original British publication of the book (as opposed to the version released by American publishers) expresses the idea better through the inclusion of chapter 21.

Really a lot of Kubrick's work has a strong philosophical message (including AI but not the obviously tacked-on and entirely Spielbergian happy ending vignette)

1

Mosquito Coast
The Invention of Lying
What Dreams May Come

1

I have to reiterate Fight Club
The Matrix
Mr. Right
and if nobody else is going to say it I will, The Fast and the Furious

1

Enemy Mine.
And have to second The Man from Earth and The Butterfly Effect.
