As we have traveled, always try to learn some language before we go. I took Spanish in high school, and before our trip to Spain and Portugal, worked for several months on Spanish, enough to do travel level. Ask some questions and understand the answers. Wife took on Portuguese Wife's grandmother was German, and she can get up to speed fairly quickly, She also does French. I also learned some travel level Italian, Greek, Turkish. Hardest I tried to learn was Polish.

Only English unfortunately. I would love to speak Italian because of my culture, but I do not have a good ear for other languages.

Five..English, French, Spanish, Profane and Vulgar. Actually, just the first three.

Native English speaker. I was once quite fluent in conversational German, was an exchange student there for a year, but that was over 30 years ago. Kind of rusty, now, but I still enjoy watching movies auf Deutsch! Have had a light smatttering of Spanish over the years, just enough to often catch what someone is talking about but not specifically what their exact meaning is. I know, not useful. ????

I speak English and Spanish fluently and I've been studying Basque since 2013 but it's really hard, I couldn't say I speak it as much as I can work out the meanings of really simple passages and song lyrics if I think a lot and have a dictionary for unfamiliar words

I've heard you think differently in different languages. Is that true?

Not really, I am always me. My personality may come across differently but I don't have to switch language to solve non language related problems

I'm a native English speaker, I can understand/read Spanish, I know a little French, and I hope to learn a couple other languages once I'm finally able to commit to doing so.

4 languages:
English
American (distinctly different from English)
Bloke (distinctly different from both the above)
Euro (picked up so many small bits of different languages over the years that they start to blur. I can start a sentence in French, use Greek words in the middle and end in German!
