Background: Years ago a friend and I were in the car, and a song came on the radio that both of us hated passionately. In fact, I don't even remember what the tune was, just the seething RAGE I felt at the idea that people joined together, recorded it, and released it to the unsuspecting public. I hated it so intensely, I opined aloud that I hoped it would not be the last song I heard before I died. And that got me to thinking, what WOULD be an appropriate last song to hear before shuffling off the mortal coil?
