Some things are binary. Something either is or is not the truth. Before a constructive debate can take place, you have to agree on the basics. Both sides have to accept that the other is there showing good will.
The current problem in America, as I see it, is that extremists (especially on the Right) think their political opponents are out to destroy the nation. They don't accept that a culture shift away from the values of Leave It To Beaver is not the end of America.

Me too. Between black and white - the world seems to have lost all shades of gray. Everything is polar opposite - one, or the other. All kinds of generalized, blanket statements with no flex. And forget about a conversation with reasoning, or understanding ! Is social media playing a part ? Too many kneejerk opinions given with little knowledge ?

Commenting on posts and writing your own earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

The website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.

Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find compatible partners.
