Oprah Winfrey for president?

Let me preface this by saying that I love Oprah. She's a wonderful human being. She comes from the common folk. She's a self made billionaire.

But, none of that has anything to do with an ability to govern.

She is the antithesis of Donald Trump in every respect except one. She has no political experience. And, while she is a much nicer individual, her lack of experience makes her just as much a risky (and, dare I say dangerous) candidate but, for different reasons.

To begin with, her lack of experience will throw a lot of votes again towards third-party candidates, increasing the odds of a second Trump term. Or, possibly even to Trump himself, since he will have had four years of experience under his belt.

She doesn't have the benefit of a strong Democratic party behind her. The Democratic representatives in Congress are lackluster at best right now. Both parties need new blood.

With a Republican Congress, she will get less accomplished than Barack Obama did. If you thought they were obstructing Obama, wait until there is a black WOMAN in office. They'll sit on their hands and vote for NOTHING to be done until she's out of office. They will obstruct every single thing she attempts to do. Even if the power flips in the 2018 election, there will still be enough on the right to cause major havoc in an Oprah administration.

The one thing that might be in her favor is, if she's willing to do something that Trump hasn't been and actually take advice from people who DO know what they're doing.

Otherwise, she'll just be another celebrity president that hasn't a clue how the presidency works.

If we've learned anything from this past election, it should be that someone with no political experience is probably not a good option for the leader of this country. Not Donald Trump. Not Tom Hanks. Not The Rock. Not Oprah Winfrey.

Just my humble opinion.

Let me hear yours.

Let us not also forget her enthusiastic support of anti-science and outright quackery. Jenny McCarthy and Drs. Oz and Phil spring to immediate mind

I read only the first few sentences and I stopped reading thinking rest would only be your take on why she should not be a president and I can not agree more.
